Replio Privacy Policy

Replio is a Chrome extension that helps users generate context-aware comments on LinkedIn and Reddit using AI. This policy explains what information the extension and its backend use, why they use it, and how it is handled.

Information we use

• Account information — if you create an account, we store your email address, optional name, and authentication data needed to sign you in.
• User preferences — tone, length, voice, and other comment settings you choose in the extension. These are stored in your browser using Chrome extension storage.
• Post content — when you use Replio on a LinkedIn or Reddit post, the extension reads visible post text and related context (such as author name, headline, subreddit, or title when available) from that page so it can generate a comment.
• Usage and billing — if you use a paid plan, we store your plan type, billing status, comment usage counts, and payment-provider identifiers needed to keep your subscription in sync.

How information is used

Post content and your selected writing preferences are sent to our backend, which calls OpenRouter solely to generate comment text. Generated comments are inserted into the LinkedIn or Reddit comment box for you to review before posting. Replio does not post comments on your behalf without your action.

Account and billing data are used to authenticate you, enforce plan limits, and process upgrades, renewals, and cancellations.

Replio does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is used only to provide the extension’s core functionality.

Data storage

Comment settings and your local session token are stored on your device via Chrome’s extension storage APIs. Account, plan, and usage records are stored on our backend using Supabase.

Uninstalling the extension removes locally stored settings and the local session. It does not automatically delete your account on the server. Contact us if you want your account deleted.

Third-party services

• OpenRouter — generates comment text. See OpenRouter’s privacy policy.
• Supabase — authentication and database hosting. See Supabase’s privacy policy.
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and subscriptions (Lemon Squeezy is a merchant of record powered by Stripe). See Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy.

The Chrome extension does not receive OpenRouter, Supabase, or Lemon Squeezy secret keys. Payment details are entered on Lemon Squeezy’s hosted checkout, not inside the extension popup.

Permissions

Replio requests these Chrome permissions:

• storage — to save your settings and signed-in session on your device.
• Host access to LinkedIn and Reddit — to read the post you are commenting on and insert the generated comment into the page’s comment box.
• Host access to our API and OpenRouter — to generate comments when the backend or AI service is used.

Your choices

You control when Replio runs by choosing to generate a comment on a post. You can change or clear settings in the extension, sign out, uninstall the extension, or manage or cancel a paid plan through the billing portal.

Children

Replio is not intended for users under 13 years of age.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will change when we do.
